The TRUST official site states this product is no longer support by them, and there are no Windows 7 drivers but as I've said, I have had it working not so long ago. Note however that the cam is very old and that the driver are Windows XP. If you need to run the software on an operating system which is not XP then you will have to tray and install the driver in compatibility mode. Ik heb ook al op de website van Trust gekeken, maar aar zijn er geen drivers voor. Common WebCam Chipsets incomplete. They supported this device with driver all the way through Windows XP. Thing is, my parents are out of the country. They paid for wifi and we're connecting through msn. Now my laptop's got webcam, mic and all. However I can see them and hear them. They can hear me but my laptop webcam keeps loading and loading for them. On my laptop I can see both them in one window and myself in the other. They keep insisting I've got my live messenger or webcam configured incorrectly and I don't think that's the case.....
Now I got this old spacec@m which I can connect to the desktop. Before I bought the laptop it used to work to get them to see my daughter when they're abroad.
But I had XP then, now I got Vista and I can't find any driver... and it's not worth buying myself another webcam since I have the lappie one.
So I'm looking for 2 solutions:
-Either finding a way to get my parents to view my laptop webcam; Laptop webcam is 2MP so maybe it's too much for the bandwidth? But I can't find a way to reduce the webcam quality.
-Or find a vista x64 driver for the spacec@m maybe they will view that. Webcam quality won't be a problem in this case (it's very very crappy)
